The Design
Guðbjörg, the designer and co-founder of Aurum has an innate affinity with Icelandic nature and she uses this to inspire and influence her jewellery, creating the most delicate designs each with their own meaning. Bridal jewellery is often chosen because of a special relationship it holds to the bride, and for any bride who shares a close connection with nature like Guðbjörg, Aurum’s range is the perfect way to express this passion on her wedding day.
Storytelling
The latest Asterias Collection was inspired by waves quietly breaking on a forgotten beach in the West fjords resulting in the most stunning range of simultaneously light, feminine and intricate necklaces with modern, three dimensional designs evoking natural patterns. With the choice of a gold silver plate, silver oxidized and silver finish in several designs the Asterias range compliments differing tastes and suits several styles. Choose from a kyanite, onix or ruby to personalise your Asterias necklace, while increasing the importance of the piece to you

Established in 1999, we are Iceland's leading jewellery brand and take pride in creating truly unique designs inspired by Icelandic nature, which have gained worldwide acclaim from such authorities as Condé Nast Traveler, Timeout, Vogue, and Town & Country.
Our flagship boutique and integrated workshop is on the main street in Reykjavík and we have built an international network of more than 50 retail partners.
Our staff of master artisans in Reykjavík produce each and every item by hand, thus ensuring high quality and attention to detail. We offer a lifetime guarantee for every piece we make -- just send us back any items requiring servicing. Or better yet, come visit us in Iceland :)
We incorporate sustainability principles throughout our operations, such as sourcing only recycled and re-refined precious metals and only buying certified and conflict-free precious stones and diamonds.
Even our unique packaging is inspired by Icelandic nature, modelled on an actual Icelandic pebble from Djúpalónssandur beach in the Snæfellsnes peninsula. The paper box is made from sustainable mulberry tree fibres.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Always elegant and polished, unique, and wild - I feel it captures many of the things that make Iceland itself beautiful. I love the detail in each piece as well as the delicacy and minimalism. Free postage to the other side of the world is a huge plus! The packaging is wonderful too - a paper mache box that looks like a small rock. I would actually buy just the box!"
