Free Worldwide Courier Shipping

AURUM is pleased to offer you complimentary courier shipping on all orders above $220. Every order is packaged in our distinctive boxes formed in the natural shape of an Icelandic pebble, perfect for gift giving.

International Orders

We ship all international orders via DHL.

  • If the amount of your order is $220 and above, we will include DHL courier shipping for free.

  • For orders under $220, we will charge a flat $25 shipping fee.

Here are DHL's estimated transit times (from Iceland):

  • To Europe: 1–2 business days

  • To USA: 1–3 business days

  • To rest of world: 2–3 business days

In addition to the above, please allow 1–2 business days for our internal order processing.

Please note that shipping is separate from any import taxes or duties you might owe in your own country. AURUM does not cover those amounts (see further details below).

Inbound VAT, Sales and Use Taxes, and Import Duties

We will include the original sales receipt and order value in the customs declaration. You are liable to pay any inbound taxes or duties imposed by your country's tax and customs authorities. If any such taxes or duties are payable, DHL will collect them from you and remit them to the relevant authorities in your country. DHL charges an administration fee for this service, which is approximately $15.

Domestic Orders

For orders within Iceland, we ship via Dropp and will email you with your package's tracking number when shipped.


Returns & Refunds

We gladly accept the return of unused or faulty items, with the exception of customized or engraved items. You can also send back your items for re-sizing or exchange. Here are our specific policies:

Re-sizing & Exchanges

  • Re-sizing: If your item does not fit, we will re-size it free of charge.

  • Exchanges: You may exchange items within 30 days of purchase, as long as they are in their original, unworn condition.

We will re-size or exchange your items free of charge. However, you are responsible for the cost of sending back your item(s) to Iceland, and we will also deduct the actual cost of shipping your item(s) back to you.

To request a re-size or exchange, please contact our customer service at customercare@aurum.is for instructions.

Returns for Refund (Online Purchases Only)

With the original receipt, you may return your items and receive a refund, in the original form of payment, within 30 days of your purchase date. Please note that this only applies to online purchases.

You are responsible for the cost of sending the item(s) back to us in Iceland. The amount of the refund depends on whether it's a partial or full return:

  • Partial returns: If you return only some items from an order, we will refund the amount paid for those items.

  • Full returns: If you return your entire order, the original shipping fees Aurum paid and any transaction fees charged by your payment provider will be deducted from your refund.

Important: Shipping costs are non-refundable. This includes the $25 flat shipping fee on orders under $220, and the shipping cost Aurum covered for orders above $220 if returned in full.

In-store Returns (Reykjavik Store)

We want you to feel confident shopping with us in person too. If you purchased your piece in our Reykjavik store, you’re welcome to return it within 30 days for an exchange or store credit.

Please note: refunds are not available for in-store purchases — refunds are only possible for online orders.
