The Design
Guðbjörg, the designer and co-founder of Aurum has an innate affinity with Icelandic nature and she uses this to inspire and influence her jewellery, creating the most delicate designs each with their own meaning. Bridal jewellery is often chosen because of a special relationship it holds to the bride, and for any bride who shares a close connection with nature like Guðbjörg, Aurum’s range is the perfect way to express this passion on her wedding day.
The ring collection - Storytelling
Nanook is delicate - light but strong, inspired by the Greenlandic polar bears and their paws. It evokes the movement of the bear as she pads over the thin ice, placing each paw precisely and deliberately. Nanook is white and has fragile lines that reveal the tension in every step.
Sustainably made
In keeping with AURUM's sustainability principles, we choose to work only with Lab-Grown Diamonds and Recycled Gold.
Lab-grown diamonds have the same physical, chemical and optical properties as mined diamonds. They offer excellent value. Moreover, they are an environmentally friendlier choice given that no mining is required.
We use recycled gold in all of our rings.

You can order all rings in 18-karat solid gold. Just let us know which design you'd like and we'll send you the price.
You can also order different sizes of lab-grown diamonds for your diamond rings. You can add diamonds to any of the wedding rings as well.

We incorporate sustainability principles throughout our operations, such as sourcing only recycled and re-refined precious metals and only buying certified and conflict-free precious stones and diamonds.
Even our unique packaging is inspired by Icelandic nature, modelled on an actual Icelandic pebble from Djúpalónssandur beach in the Snæfellsnes peninsula. The paper box is made from sustainable mulberry tree fibres.
