Sustainability in Action
Sourcing
For over 20 years, we have used only recycled and re-refined precious metals in our jewelry. We source exclusively lab-grown diamonds from suppliers who are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, ensuring ethical and environmentally responsible practices across the supply chain.
Packaging
Our unique packaging is made from Mulberry paper (also known as Saa paper), derived from the bark of the Mulberry tree. The process is sustainable and non-destructive — only the leaves are harvested, allowing the trees to continue growing naturally.
Energy Use
All of our production takes place in Iceland, where 100 percent of energy comes from renewable sources — primarily hydropower and geothermal energy.
We collaborate with nonprofit organizations to create meaningful designs that support fundraising efforts and raise awareness.
Bond Collection
Inspired by human connection, intimacy, and love. Profits support Göngum saman (Walk Together), an Icelandic charity funding breast cancer research and treatment.
Forget-Me-Not Collection
Created in partnership with the Forget-Me-Not support fund, which helps parents who have lost a child during or shortly after pregnancy. The jewelry honors loss with beauty and meaning, and all profits go to the charity.
Bleika slaufan Collaboration (2019)
In partnership with the Icelandic Cancer Society, Aurum designed a special ribbon necklace for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The limited-edition collection of 200 pieces sold out, and 100 percent of proceeds were donated to Bleika slaufan. 
Sigga Heimis Collaboration (2018)
Inspired by Sigga Heimis’s renowned glass heart series, we created the Heart of Gold necklace to raise awareness for organ donation. All proceeds supported Neistinn, a charity for children with heart defects.
